The lay-out of the property is as follows:
Through the main door is a hall. On the right is the main reception room with a patio door opening out onto the large terrace behind the house. On the left, from the hall, is the second reception room which also has a patio door opening out onto the path which leads to the front door.
Further down the hall are stairs to the left and beyond that is a smaller lower hall. Off this lower hall is a cellar to the left which benefits from fitted wooden double doors. The town of Tollo is located on a hill, 150 metres above sea level. It has 4,158 inhabitants.
Tollo is particularly renowned for its vineyards and olive groves which surround and embrace this tranquil part of Abruzzo. It is a major centre for the production and bottling of prestigious wines, using the locally grown Montepulciano and Trebbiano grapes.
In addition to beautiful wines, the area has delicious, gastronomic delights too. These include arrostcini, the small cubed kebabs of grilled lamb and porchetta which is a seasoned roasted pork with a crispy crust, usually eaten with bread.
Throughout the year many festivals are held in Tollo to celebrate religious, historic, athletic and gastronomic events.
The town boasts a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants and its proximity to the coast and city of Pescara is very attractive for those seeking to purchase a home in Abruzzo.
