This villa has a living space of 190 sq. metres, divided as follows:
Ground floor - living accomodation with entrance, kitchen with fireplace, bathroom with shower, massive lounge, dining room
Mezzanine floor - sleeping area with 3 bedrooms, two double and one single, bathroom with bathtub and corridor.
Basement - garage, boiler room, utility room and several cellars/storage rooms with the same space as the other floors
The attic hosts a studio with 3 separate accesses to the space. A good area for inspecting the roof.
The villa is sorrounded by a marvellous 2,000 sq. metre garden, all fenced with remote-controlled gate. It is cultivated with nice pine trees and some cherry trees. This is a real paradise for relaxation and enjoying al fresco meals.
The heating has a double system: mains gas and wood burner/thermal chimney. The roof is in wood and the electric system has double wiring to enable energy saving. A “luxury” feature is the wonderful flooring in the living accomodation, which is red marble.
The house is preferably sold furnished: there are some high-quality wooden pieces of furniture in the dining and living room. If desired, there is another small piece of land of about 160-180 sq. metres to be eventually included in the purchase. This is attached to the fenced land and comprises some olive trees.
The dwelling is located in a convenient spot, at about 5 minutes driving distance to the nearest town of Castiglione Messer Raimondo but there are several shops, petrol stations, supermarkets, bars and restaurants within a 2 km radius.
Castiglione Messer Raimondo - Teramo Province
A typical medieval village, located on a narrow hill overlooking the Fino River and dominated by the majestic Gran Sasso massif.
This fortified town is 306 metres above sea level and boasts an ancient history. Local archaeological remains prove that is was inhabited since pre-Roman times. Since then, the prominence of medieval sandstone buildings ensure that it retains a characterful appearance.
With a population of 2,285, the town has a couple of restaurants, bars, grocery store, butcher, bank, post office and pharmacy. There is also a weekly market.
August is the time for celebrations with the Feast of San Donato at the beginning of the month and the festival celebrating Pecorino cheese and other local dishes at the end.
