Located in one of the best places in Abruzzo, surrounded by countryside and nature, is this most beautiful property. The design is based on the panoramic views that can be appreciated from every angle. Designed by a famous Dutch architect and inspired by Japanese imperial palaces the villa has been developed by a team of Venezuelan and Italian idealists from Abruzzo.
With a private road leading directly to the villa, the back of the property borders the National Park which provides extreme privacy. From all angles inside the house, the beautiful surroundings can be appreciated thanks to the 55 windows. The only way to experience the uniqueness of this property is to come and see it.
The structure has been created to cover all the scenarios of life from total relaxation to entertaining family and friends. It would be possible to have a minimum of four bedrooms.
Major attention has been dedicated to the structure and its finishing with the use of high quality materials especially for energy efficiency. The property is nearing completion and will be left unfinished, internally, to give the new owner the opportunity to choose materials such as, heating and electric systems, tiling, sanitary ware, doors etc...
Please note that any additional information will be supplied on request. However, a personal visit, if interested, is absolutely necessary to understand and appreciate the structure and wonderful location.
Civitella Casanova - Pescara Province
The town of Civitella Casanova lies along the crest of a hill, at an altitude of 400 metres, near the confluence of the rivers Schiavone and Festina. It is in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park which is the perfect spot for nature lovers, with a wealth of flora and fauna to discover. The town has nearly 2,000 inhabitants and is the most populous of the foothill towns of the Gran Sasso.
The old town retains much of its ancient structure and there are many traditions, culinary events and torchlight processions, celebrated each year. There are many structures of architectural note to admire. These include both churches and palaces together with the ruins of a Roman aqueduct, floors of Roman houses and a nearby, fortified, castle. The town boasts a public swimming pool and has numerous facilities including bars, mini-markets, post office, butcher and restaurants including the Michelin starred ‘La Bandiera'.
The immediate area is surrounded by the cultivation of olive trees. The harvested olives are used in the production of extra-virgin olive oil which is renowned for excellent and natural qualities, due to its position in the foothills, away from pollution and contamination.
For food lovers, it is worth noting that Civitella is considered the home of Abruzzo’s most famous dish ‘arrosticini’ (skewered, salted lamb), which can be sampled at nearby restaurants.
Civitella Casanova’s wonderful position means that it is ideally placed for a vast array of activities including hiking, climbing, horse riding, cycling and winter skiing.
