Loreto Aprutino, Abruzzo, Pescara

Description

Historic villa on two levels with an exclusive courtyard of 300 square metres partly paved and partly garden.

The house comprises:

GROUND FLOOR: entrance hall, double living room with fireplace, kitchen with fireplace, dining room, study, storage room and two bathrooms.

SECOND FLOOR: five bedrooms (one of which has its own bathroom) and an additional bathroom.

From the second floor there is access to the ATTIC where there are two storage rooms, one of which is finished and can be used as an additional bedroom or study.

A large cellar and a room used as an oven complete the property.

The property is in good condition. The roof was replaced in 2013 with a ventilated wooden one and a seismic adaptation was carried out. Aluminium window frames with double glazing, 3 kw photovoltaic system, solar panels, autoclave and connection to the gas network. The electrical system was adapted in 2000. The heating system is divided into three independent lines so that, if desired, the villa can be divided into two or three units with independent heating. It only needs to be painted outside and it will look very pretty.

This is an ideal solution for those who love peace and tranquillity. It is ideal to being subdivided, in the case of large families, or to being converted into a B&B or holiday rental.

LORETO APRUTINO - PESCARA PROVINCE

Loreto Aprutino is one of the most picturesque hilltop towns in Abruzzo.   It is a fabulous location for exploring the region being located so close to famous historic towns, pristine beaches and rugged mountains.

Just minutes away is the Gran Sasso National Park which is perfect for nature lovers and extremely popular with trekkers, mountain climbers and skiers.

The town itself is typically medieval and its historical architecture is best enjoyed by strolling through the atmospheric streets and alley ways.  There are churches, museums, palaces and the famous Castello Chiola, now one of the best and most imposing hotels of the area.  There are plenty of restaurants and bars to excite gastronomes and casual diners alike and there is a weekly market selling local produce every Thursday.  The town has all necessary amenities such as banks, shops and pharmacies and a daily bus service to Pescara brings more attractions and services.

The production of olive oil is very important for the town’s economy hence the museum dedicated to this traditional delicacy and the many olive groves that dot the surrounding hills.
